With a knack for movie impressions and the need to explore the unknown, Alex has always loved the many fantastical worlds that the entertainment industry brought him in his youth. The worlds of Tolkien, Lucas, Roddenberry, and Spielberg served to inspire. It’s only fitting that when he began his journey in 2012, it was to volunteer full time for film festivals and give his enthusiasm to others. Fueled by an indomitable spirit to create, he chose to pursue filmmaking in hopes of bringing to light the many stories and characters within us all that have yet to be heard.

   Moving from Seattle to San Francisco, he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in filmmaking in 2017. Alex assisted in both creative and technical departments while Freelancing in the bay area, working in theater operations for major west coast film festivals, working part-time as a lighting technician for an event production company, and being a full-time student. Exposing himself to all aspects of a film's production, he was exposed to a wide range of film genres, both domestic and international. he strives to create work that is multiculturally diverse and impactful to his viewers by exposing the truths that our imagination hold. A film can show us all just how precious and important the survival of art, architecture, language and any culture are to humanity as a whole.

   Back in the pacfic northwest, he hopes to showcase the potential of what Seattle can become and what it can achieve by becoming a center of progressive media arts and information technology. When not geeking out about Sci-fi, Fantasy, or working on anything film-related, Alex loves cooking, studying martial arts, exploring outside, and hiking with his friends.
